Title and Summary Lead Systems Analyst The COSI team is chartered to deliver a value management framework for decision-making by leaders throughout Mastercard. Our team is committed to excellence by driving towards a comprehensive understanding of Total Cost of Ownership (TCO). We are seeking a dynamic and highly motivated individual to join our team as a Manager, Technology Business Management. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of IBM Apptio platform - Cost Transparency, Bill of IT and Cloudability, IT finance management principles and Technology Business Management methodologies. Proficiency in Apptio tool is required, along with the ability to effectively manage month-end processes and annual rate-setting exercises.

Requirements

  • Hands-on experience with Apptio tool is required.
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, Finance, Information Technology, or related field. Advanced degree or relevant certifications
  • Proven experience (5 years) in technology business management, IT finance management, or related roles within a complex organizational environment.
  • In-depth knowledge of IT finance principles, cost allocation methodologies, and financial analysis techniques.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and formulate actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on accuracy, reliability, and compliance in financial and operational processes.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and effectively manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

Responsibilities

  • Apptio Tool Expertise:
  • Demonstrate proficiency in using Apptio tool for cost transparency, IT financial management, and TBM analytics.
  • Works with the COSI team and the engineering team to develop & deliver data capabilities needed for Apptio tools, streamlining overall system architecture including configuration and components and ensures usability/functionality of components
  • Configure, test, & document cost model, allocation model , data tables, reports and underling data models to meet function design and specifications
  • Perform data loads, monitoring integrity of data, analysis, and maintenance of reference data and mapping issues, solving of data errors Support data connectivity through API's and those embedded within our tool and develop integrations and modeling across large data sets
  • Communication and Collaboration:
  • Act as a liaison between technology business units, IT group managers, and cross-functional teams to facilitate seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Support Program objectives, priorities, and initiatives across your stakeholders.
  • IT Finance Management:
  • Apply principles of IT finance management to analyze, monitor, and optimize technology investments and expenditures.
  • Assist in developing and maintaining product cost and allocation models related to IT services and resources. Conduct cost analysis, benchmarking, and pricing reviews to establish competitive and sustainable rates.
  • Month-End Process Management:
  • Oversee month-end close activities related to technology expenses, revenue recognition, and financial reporting.
  • Coordinate with finance and accounting teams to ensure accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of financial data and records.
  • Annual Rate-Setting Exercise:
  • Lead the annual rate-setting exercise for technology services and products, in collaboration with relevant stakeholders.
