About The Position

JOB TITLE: Lead System Engineering JOB LOCATION: 3400 W Plano Pkwy. Plano, Texas 75075 DUTIES: Define subsystems and their interfaces, allocate responsibilities to subsystems, understand solution deployment, and communicate requirements for interactions with solution context. Align development teams to a shared technical direction and partners with those teams in elaborating the Solution and its interfaces. Validate technology assumptions and evaluate implementation alternatives. Establish critical NFRs at the solution level and participate in the definition of others. Participate in planning, definition, and high-level design of the system solution and explore alternatives. Develop the Architectural Runway in support of new business Features and Capabilities. Work with portfolio stakeholders, Solution, and Enterprise Architects, to develop, analyze, split, and realize the implementation of enablers. Participate in project planning, system and solution demos, and retrospective workshops. Understand technical characteristics of and assist with architectural integration of external components, systems, and platforms. Build, deploy, and test full stack web solutions using modern development tools and methodologies by managing user acceptance testing, incorporating feedback and performing iterative enhancements to improve functionality and user experience. Engage with end users and General Managers (GMs) to expand and refine workflow solutions by ensuring alignment with business processes and objectives. Acquire foundational knowledge of emerging technology solutions focused on rapid development and deployment of automation tools for business clients by positioning to support ongoing digital transformation initiatives. Update skills and technical expertise to stay abreast of industry trends and new technologies relevant to web solutions and automation deployment. Analyze and understand solution deployment environments to ensure seamless integration and operational efficiency across multiple platforms. Communicate detailed technical requirements and interface specifications to development teams and stakeholders by ensuring alignment with overall solution context and business objectives. Create and maintain detailed technical documentation including best practices for cloning and managing Azure DevOps repositories using Git in Visual Studio Code by promoting knowledge sharing and operational consistency within AT&T. Apply knowledge in languages including Java, Python, and C#. Apply experience with scripting languages including JavaScript and VBScript (VBS). Apply knowledge of relational database management systems including SQL Server. Apply knowledge with NoSQL databases including CosmosDB and MongoDB. Utilize cloud-based data systems including Microsoft Azure. Work directly with business clients and partners.
