About The Position

Dynamic Manufacturing is seeking a Lead System Applications Engineer to join our growing team! The Lead System Applications Engineer architects, coordinates team development and maintains high quality software solutions which support Dynamic’s manufacturing processes. Responsibilities include custom, full stack software development using the .NET platform (version 6+) across multiple architectures, manufacturing execution system (MES) integration and support, and production break/fix.

Demonstrates proficiency in DevOps concepts, including Agile methodologies, version control, secure coding practices, and automation pipelines
Works as an instrument of change, maintaining existing solutions whilst preparing and applying optimizations to improve and future-proof; generally, promotes an environment of learning
BA or BS Computer science or related field or equivalent degree
6+ years’ experience as a software developer in a corporate business environment
6+ years’ experience with the .NET platform and EF Core doing full stack development
Proficient in C# and SQL
Extensive experience with relational and non-relational databases
Experience leading team projects, architecting and delivering solutions to business personnel
Experience interfacing with corporate executive and management-level personnel
Experience in troubleshooting various types of hardware and software
Proficient with Windows and Linux-based operating systems; containerization experience a plus

Nice To Haves

Experience with a MES a plus
Cloud platform experience a plus

Responsibilities

Works closely with plant engineers, product managers, quality and other departments to plan, architect and implement software solutions to support business processes
Provides on-site and remote technical support to the Dynamic Manufacturing employee base and escalations to other IT resources and business partners when applicable
Demonstrates ability to diagnose and resolve issues with various hardware and software solutions
Leads team development, architecting and implementing software solutions
