Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Surgical Technician Certification required.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification required.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Staff adheres to all I.C.A.R.E. Standards.

Nice To Haves

  • 5-year of Surgical Technician experience preferred.
  • NBSTSA certification

Responsibilities

  • Function as a scrub person during operative and other invasive procedures by
  • Participate in ongoing educational and competency activities
  • Precept staff to the surgical technician job duties, including surgical technicians, nurses and students
  • Helps develops and maintains a sustainable onboarding and orientation pipeline for new surgical technologists and surgical technology students.”
