Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Surgical Technician Certification required.
Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification required.
Basic computer skills.
Staff adheres to all I.C.A.R.E. Standards.

Nice To Haves

5-year of Surgical Technician experience preferred.
NBSTSA certification

Responsibilities

Function as a scrub person during operative and other invasive procedures by
Participate in ongoing educational and competency activities
Precept staff to the surgical technician job duties, including surgical technicians, nurses and students
Helps develops and maintains a sustainable onboarding and orientation pipeline for new surgical technologists and surgical technology students.”
