About The Position

The Lead Supply Tech manages the day-to-day operation and performance of work in accordance with the Statement of Work. The Lead Supply Tech also performs limited aspects of technical supply management work (e.g., inventory management, storage management, cataloging, and property utilization) related to depot, local, or other supply activities.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive related experience, including extensive hands-on experience with warehousing and medical supply inventory management.
  • Proficient computer skills, including extensive experience with Elite Series Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
  • Strong team building and leadership skills.
  • Ability to exercise sound judgment and make decisions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong cost control, procurement, and budgeting skills with general accounting and financial aptitude.
  • Ability to communicate electronically with proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft PowerPoint.
  • Willingness and ability to drive/transport between Perry Point and Northeast, MD as needed.
  • Ability to pass a security clearance background check.
  • A valid Real ID is required to access this work site.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate solutions and operational actions with the Director of Contract Operations, TFM.
  • Maintain overall responsibility for operations and maintenance of the assigned facility.
  • Manage services, repairs, inventory accountability, and other operational needs.
  • Plan, assign, and evaluate the work of subordinate staff.
  • Conduct regular staff meetings to ensure smooth operations and effective communication.
  • Provide updates to staff regarding policies, procedures, and operational changes.
  • Follow up with clients and prepare reports tracking departmental functions and performance.
  • Manage facility services related to buildings, structures, grounds, installed equipment, and material handling equipment.
  • Foster a positive team environment focused on quality work and collaboration.
  • Proactively develop, test, document, and share process improvements.
  • Lead productivity improvement plans, service plans, and continuous quality improvement plans.
  • Drive Total Quality (TQ) efforts to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Participate in determining and directing policy changes to meet customer needs.
  • Troubleshoot processes and oversee quality and process controls.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA, DOT, environmental, and safety requirements.
  • Implement safety initiatives including training, investigation, reporting, and hazard correction.
  • Ensure safety and security within scope of work through proper equipment use and adherence to policies.
  • Maintain accurate documentation related to safety incidents, grievances, and disciplinary actions.
  • Promote and enforce Didlake safety standards and guidelines at all times.
  • Maintain full accountability for facility Profit & Loss (P&L) financials.
  • Manage operations within an approved budget.
  • Ensure proper billing practices and accurate documentation of materials, labor, and equipment.
  • Complete and maintain required paperwork, documentation, and reports.
  • Utilize computer systems and reporting tools effectively, including MS Office applications.
  • Provide coaching and guidance to employees as needed.
  • Drive positive change and advocate for process improvements.
  • Complete and maintain all required Didlake training and professional development.
