About The Position

This position reports to Supply Chain Management and assists management in directing the activities of supply chain personnel engaged in inventory, ordering, receiving, storage, breakout, and distribution of all service area supplies. The role involves assigning staff and prioritizing work assignments, as well as assisting in the interviewing, orientation, training, evaluation, discipline, and timekeeping tasks of assigned supply chain staff.

Requirements

• Strong analytical, mathematical, computer, and communication skills.
• Completion of an Associate's Degree in Business (or related field) or 2 years of progressively more responsible related work experience.
• 2 years of Material Management experience.
• Interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with Medical Center personnel and outside vendors.
• Ability to concentrate and pay close attention to detail when creating reports, ordering, and analyzing data.

Responsibilities

• Assist management in directing supply chain personnel activities.
• Engage in inventory, ordering, receiving, storage, breakout, and distribution of service area supplies.
• Assign staff and prioritize work assignments.
• Assist in interviewing, orientation, training, evaluation, discipline, and timekeeping tasks of supply chain staff.
