About The Position

At Senra Systems, we believe that the future of manufacturing lies not in automation, but in configuration. We supercharge electrical wire harness manufacturing through software configuration, transforming skilled assembly tasks into high-throughput production lines. We enable customers to design what they want, when they want it and deliver harness builds at record-breaking speed. The Lead Supply Chain Planner is a high-profile, strategic leader responsible for orchestrating the end-to-end material flow that powers our production engine. This role goes beyond execution; you will design and optimize the cross-functional frameworks between Engineering, Manufacturing, and Finance to ensure 100% production readiness. As a Lead, you are the architect of our supply chain resilience. You will balance complex demand-supply variables, mentor junior planners, and drive the evolution of our MRP systems. You sit at the critical intersection of long-term scaling and daily operational excellence, ensuring that our BOM management and inventory strategies are proactive rather than reactive.

Requirements

  • Experience: 5+ years of progressive supply chain planning experience in a high-growth manufacturing environment (Aerospace, Automotive, or Semiconductor preferred).
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, or Business.
  • Technical Mastery: Advanced proficiency in ERP/MRP systems (SAP, Oracle, or specialized Aerospace tools) and expert-level Excel (VBA, Power Query, or data visualization tools like Tableau/Power BI).
  • Strategic Sourcing: Proven ability to align site-level execution with global commodity strategies and negotiate Service Level Agreements (SLAs) that improve OTD and lead times.
  • Problem Solving: A track record of resolving complex BOM discrepancies and quality escapes (NCRs) through root-cause analysis and corrective action implementation.
  • Leadership Presence: Exceptional communication skills with the ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders and remain calm under the pressure of a fast-moving production environment.

Nice To Haves

  • APICS (CPIM/CSCP) or Six Sigma Green Belt certification is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Strategic Orchestration: Lead the "Clear-to-Build" process, ensuring seamless synchronization between work order releases, procurement signals, and floor stock availability.
  • Supplier Governance: Design and head the supplier performance management framework; facilitate executive-level scorecard reviews and drive accountability for Tier 1 and Tier 2 partners.
  • Process Architecture: Partner with Product Management to define requirements for ERP/MRP software enhancements, ensuring digital tools scale with physical production.
  • Inventory Strategy: Develop and oversee global site material, hardware, and consumables strategies, utilizing advanced safety stock modeling to minimize carrying costs while eliminating stockouts.
  • Risk Mitigation & Intelligence: Execute high-level risk assessments (PFMEA style) considering geopolitical trends, lead-time volatility, and historical performance to safeguard the production line.
  • Executive Communication: Serve as the primary point of escalation for critical supply constraints, providing data-driven recovery plans and status updates to senior leadership.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify and lead Lean or Six Sigma projects to reduce waste in the dock-to-stock cycle and improve overall inventory accuracy.
  • Mentorship: Act as a subject matter expert and mentor to Supply Chain Planners, fostering a culture of extreme ownership and technical excellence.
