Welcome to INNIO! The Lead Supplier Quality Engineer lays a key role in ensuring exceptional product quality, regulatory compliance, and optimized cost of quality across INNIO’s supply base. In this role, you will serve as the technical point of contact for supplier-related quality initiatives, driving improved process control, defect prevention, and strong collaboration between INNIO and its suppliers.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline, preferably engineering, or equivalent combination of relevant education and experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in supplier quality or manufacturing quality within an industrial environment.
  • Strong communication, problem‑solving, and project management skills with the ability to work across functions and global regions.
  • A proactive, independent work style with the ability to respond quickly and adapt to changing priorities.

Responsibilities

  • Manage supply base focused on engineered systems
  • Serve as the primary technical interface between suppliers and INNIO’s internal teams, collaborating closely with Sourcing,
  • Conduct supplier audits and ensure that suppliers comply with quality procedures, standards and technical regulations
  • Lead qualification activities for new parts and new suppliers with an emphasis on defect prevention and robust manufacturing processes.
  • Drive reduction of defects and cost of quality through root‑cause analysis, corrective actions, and disposition of supplier deviations and non‑conformities.
  • Lead supplier development initiatives, partnering with suppliers to implement continuous improvement projects and providing quality input for supplier scorecards.
