The Lead Supervisor is responsible for the overall operation of an assigned unit or center for Wolverine Human Services, with a mission of “Helping Children and Families to be Victors.” This role involves direct shift supervision, monitoring, managing, and coordinating daily routine treatment programs and schedules, and ensuring outings are planned weekly. The supervisor coordinates and/or conducts treatment activities, maintains and monitors treatment programs following clinical directives, and participates in/plans outdoor programming. Key responsibilities include directing staff scheduling to maintain proper staff-to-child ratios, coordinating information flow to relevant departments, and managing Paycor timecards and annual leave for supervised employees. The Lead Supervisor consults with the Director on operational needs and treatment program requirements, attends weekly Clinical Meetings and bi-weekly staff meetings, and supervises Youth Care Worker Supervisors and Youth Care Workers. They also monitor the implementation of the point store, point and level system, and coordinate with the Program Manager for on-call supervision after hours and on weekends. The position requires working weekends and/or second shifts, maintaining awareness of client behavior, supervising meals, and being available for direct observation of treatment staff and coordinating staff training needs. This is an exempt position for purposes of compliance with the Fair Labor Standards Act of 1967.
