About The Position

The Lead Supervisor at Coach plays a crucial role in driving the store's success by modeling desired behaviors and ensuring alignment with company objectives. This position involves overseeing sales strategies, managing operational tasks, and fostering a positive team environment to achieve business goals. The Lead Supervisor acts as a brand ambassador, enhancing customer relationships and contributing to the overall performance of the store.

Requirements

  • 1-3 years of previous retail experience, preferably in a luxury retail service environment.
  • Current knowledge of fashion trends and competition in the marketplace.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.
  • Knowledge of cash register systems and basic computer skills, including the ability to use iPad/laptop and Mobile POS.
  • Ability to execute at a fast pace and communicate effectively with customers and team.
  • Ability to maneuver the sales floor, sales shelves, and stock room; climbing, bending, and kneeling are required.
  • Ability to frequently lift and carry up to 25 pounds and, at times, lift and carry product/cartons up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

  • Understand organizational objectives and make decisions in partnership with Store Manager(s) and Assistant Store Manager(s).
  • Endorse, model, and develop the team to deliver Coach's Selling and Service expectations.
  • Enforce sales strategies and initiatives across all categories.
  • Work with Store Manager(s) and/or Assistant Store Manager(s) to flex store business strategies and personal selling techniques.
  • Leverage floor supervisor assignment responsibilities to deliver strong metrics and remain results-driven.
  • Maximize clienteling strategy in partnership with Store Manager(s) and Assistant Store Manager(s).
  • Build credibility and trust with team and customers, serving as a personal fashion advisor.
  • Create positive impressions with store team and customers through appropriate business attire.
  • Act as a brand ambassador in the local market to drive brand loyalty.
  • Tailor approach to customer and team needs by reading cues.
  • Resolve customer issues in a solution-oriented manner, partnering with Store Manager(s) and/or District Manager as needed.
  • Develop self and individual product knowledge skills, remaining aware of current collections.
  • Understand the positive sales impact of staffing and recruit accordingly.
  • Coach, develop, and motivate the team to meet goals and utilize Company tools.
  • Provide regular feedback to others and coach performance to a higher standard.
  • Manage daily operational tasks according to Coach standards, adapting to business needs.
  • Demonstrate strong business acumen and maintain a calm, professional demeanor.
  • Maintain the interior and exterior upkeep of the building in partnership with the corporate office.
  • Use retail systems and reporting tools to make informed decisions.
  • Adhere to all applicable Coach retail policies and procedures.
  • Leverage Coach's tools and technology to support relationship building and clienteling efforts.
