The Opportunity This is a true field leadership role. As a Lead Superintendent, you will run the jobsite, lead subcontractors and self-perform crews, and take full ownership of schedule, safety, and quality. You will work alongside a strong PM team and leadership that trusts your judgment and backs your decisions. Work Location This is a full-time onsite role based on a South Bay / Peninsula project, with future projects throughout the Bay Area. Candidates must be local or within a reasonable commute. Relocation is not provided. Requirements

  • 5+ years as a Superintendent with a general contractor on commercial or public works projects
  • Proven ability to run jobs independently and lead field teams with confidence
  • Strong understanding of building systems, sequencing, and code requirements
  • Clear communicator who can manage multiple stakeholders effectively
  • Organized and disciplined in planning and documentation
  • Experience with Procore, Bluebeam, and scheduling tools
  • OSHA 30 (or willingness to obtain)
  • Ability to meet project-specific badging and background requirements

Responsibilities

  • Lead all onsite construction activities from mobilization through closeout
  • Drive schedule performance, including detailed three-week lookaheads
  • Manage subcontractors and union field crews with clear expectations and accountability
  • Maintain a safe, organized, and high-performing jobsite
  • Coordinate with project management, design teams, and inspectors to keep the job moving
  • Identify and solve issues before they impact schedule or cost
  • Oversee inspections, punch lists, and final delivery
  • Maintain accurate daily reporting and documentation using Procore and related tools
