The position requires a valid Airframe License, with a preference for an Airframe & Powerplant license. If neither is held, a Repairman Certificate through Airborne is acceptable. The candidate must have two years of experience in heavy aircraft maintenance, ideally with an airline or MRO aircraft company. A thorough working knowledge of all forms and documents required to support heavy maintenance service is essential, including company policy manuals, FARs, ADs, Service Bulletins, and Maintenance Manuals. The role demands the ability to read and interpret technical manuals, instructions, blueprints, and drawings, as well as proficiency in using tools, gauges, and instruments necessary for the job. Understanding hazardous material handling and disposal is also required, along with possession of minimum required tools. Candidates must meet qualifications to obtain a SIDA badge and hold a high school diploma or equivalent. Leadership qualities and the ability to work with others are crucial, as is the capacity to perform high-quality work with minimal supervision.
