Lead Structural Tower Technician (Dayshift Mon-Thur 7:30 a.m.– 5:30 p.m.)

Position Overview We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Engineering Support Technician to support assembly, maintenance, and operational activities. This role requires strong mechanical aptitude, the ability to interpret technical documentation, and hands-on experience working with large assemblies. The Engineering Support Technician plays a critical role in ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency across production and maintenance operations.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Experience as a technician in a mechanical, industrial, manufacturing, or equipment maintenance environment
- Proven ability to read and interpret technical documentation and engineering drawings
- Experience working with bolted assemblies and fastening methods
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
- High attention to detail and quality
- Effective communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, hands-on environment
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects
- Ability to perform repetitive manual tasks
- Ability to work in varying environments, including industrial settings
- Ability to work in confined spaces or at heights as required
Nice To Haves
- Experience with crane operations and rigging
- Experience operating forklifts or other heavy equipment
- Familiarity with standard tools, hardware, and fastening systems
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair technical issues related to equipment, machinery, and systems
- Read and interpret work instructions, technical manuals, and engineering drawings
- Assemble and disassemble large-scale mechanical assemblies in accordance with specifications
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections to ensure equipment functionality and reliability
- Install, configure, and test new equipment and systems
- Document work performed, including troubleshooting steps and resolutions
- Adhere to all safety standards, procedures, and regulatory requirements
- Collaborate cross-functionally to resolve technical issues in a timely manner
- Provide technical support and guidance to team members and end-users as needed
