Lead Structural Engineer - Offshore Brownfield Engineering
About The Position
Wood is currently looking for a Lead Structural Engineer for our expanding offshore brownfield engineering. This position is Onsite in Metairie, LA. Remarkable people, trusted by clients to design and advance the world. The Lead Structural Engineer will play a lead role in managing civil/structural engineering efforts for our new offshore brownfield engineering office. The successful candidate will work closely with multidisciplinary teams including mechanical, process, and electrical engineers, along with environmental and regulatory specialists, developing and implementing civil/structural engineering solutions to safely decommission offshore facilities while minimizing environmental impact and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. In addition to the production of engineering deliverables (construction work packs, engineering studies, regulatory & environmental reviews, asset management plans), a key success factor for the selected candidate will be the ability to efficiently manage the flow of work to remote (workshare) offices.
