Job Summary Our Rail + Transit team is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer, to work on various projects in the DMV Area. This position will require extensive knowledge of light rail systems and executing transit projects.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Civil/Structural Engineering requires of equivalent international charter with 10+ years' experience of the PM+CM side of Rail and Transit.
Well versed in structural analysis and building behavior.
Shall have solid project management skills, client relationship management, and adept in vertical and horizontal engineering principles and code.

Responsibilities

Work with diverse disciplines in horizontal and vertical structural design delivery, including but not limited to structural, civils, environmental, social, finance, and economics.
Review engineering design, plans, specifications, and estimates in accordance with applicable design codes.
Ability to work as part of a team to provide deliverables and meet deadlines.
Ability to check drawings and to coordinate with clients (architects, other engineers, general contractors, etc.).
Provide assistance to ensure that drawings, calculations and designs are in accordance with company production and design standards and strengths and follow Quality Assurance and Control procedure.
Assist in the preparation of project data for schedules, assist in preparing schedules and budgets in order to monitor progress reports.
Ability to provide quality control/quality assurance to ensure deliverables are of high quality and on-time.
Assist with proposal preparation and business development efforts, including supporting pursuit strategies, contributing technical input, and helping to capture and deliver new work opportunities.
Lead and mentor junior team members by providing technical guidance, delegating tasks, and fostering a collaborative environment to ensure high-quality project delivery.
Other responsibilities as assigned.
