About The Position

As a Lead of Strategic Operations, you will be responsible for designing and orchestrating key operating cadences across Chime, and working on business-critical projects for our executive team. This is a great opportunity for someone who thrives at the intersection of strategy, problem-solving, and operations — if you’re an adaptable, analytical thinker who loves connecting dots, driving clarity, and making organizations run better, we’d love to meet you. The Strategic Operations (“StratOps”) team sits within Chime’s Business Operations function and plays a pivotal role in aligning teams, accelerating decisions, and ensuring we’re focused on what matters most. The team runs Chime’s core operating cadences — working across every function at Chime to connect strategy to execution across company planning, goal setting, product roadmapping, and key executive forums. And we “pull the thread all the way through” - we approach our role with an ownership mindset, taking on strategic, ad hoc projects as needed to help improve how Chime’s leaders operate the business. The base salary offered for this role and level of experience will begin at $116,100.00 and up to $161,300.00. Full-time employees are also eligible for a bonus, competitive equity package, and benefits. The actual base salary offered may be higher, depending on your location, skills, qualifications, and experience.

  • Strong business acumen and an analytical mindset — you understand how different parts of a business connect, and you use data and logic to drive decisions.
  • Sharp problem-solving skills with a bias toward action and continuous improvement.
  • Strong communication and storytelling ability — you can distill complex inputs into clear, actionable narratives.
  • Comfortable working across teams, driving alignment, and influencing without authority.
  • Highly organized, with a knack for building structure in ambiguous situations.
  • A systems thinker who cares about how an organization operates and how to make it better.
