About The Position

We’re seeking an experienced SSO Solutions Engineer to join one of the largest cybersecurity organizations in the financial services industry. In this role, you’ll design and implement secure, scalable identity and access management (IAM) solutions, leveraging cutting-edge technologies like Ping Federate and AWS. You’ll collaborate across teams, influence strategic initiatives, and help deliver enterprise-level security solutions that protect millions of users.

Requirements

• Ping Suite (Ping Federate, Ping Identity, Ping Tools)
• IAM & SSO expertise
• AWS experience
• Java/J2EE experience
• Expertise in Identity and Authentication solutions with Ping Federate/Ping Access.
• Strong hands-on experience with SSO technologies and protocols (OAuth, OpenID Connect, FIDO, SCIM, LDAP, SAML).
• Experience designing Ping policies, including custom solutions.
• Implementing identity synchronization to Cloud IAM using PingIDM/SCIM.
• 7+ years in Information Security with a focus on IAM.
• Strong development experience in Java/J2EE and scripting languages (Shell, Python, PowerShell).
• Knowledge of LDAP, Active Directory, MFA, risk-based authentication, and privileged access management.
• Familiarity with API design, RESTful services, and modern application interaction patterns.
• Experience deploying large-scale, global IAM projects.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Participate in design, development, and implementation of systems engineering activities, including OS support, systems programming, and data center capabilities.
• Contribute to story refinement and requirement definition for complex projects.
• Utilize network, virtualization, and data center technologies for deployment strategies.
• Collaborate with development teams to integrate and transform systems in operational environments.
• Build and improve processes for system transformation, quality controls, and workload management.
• Define and implement deployment pipelines for faster, data-driven decision-making.
• Execute and analyze integration, regression, and performance tests, identifying and resolving issues.
• Document and communicate critical information for deployment, maintenance, and support.
• Identify gaps in environment management standards and develop plans to close them.
