About The Position
Well-established hospital located near Houston, TX is looking for a full-time permanent Lead Speech Language Pathologist to join their team. Details are below. The Lead Speech Language Pathologist will assist the Director of Therapy Operations in day-to-day operations of a therapy team or discipline. This position typically provides patient care in licensed discipline 80% - 90% of work hours. Providing direct care to patients and building rewarding relationships by understanding each patients physical, mental, and emotional needs to aid in their recovery. Assisting the Director of Therapy Operations in the daily operations of the therapy team, including scheduling, orientation, training, and communication with the occupational therapy staff and hospital departments. It is one of the highest-income suburban areas in the United States Known for being family-friendly with a suburban feel. Many establishments are casual, making them suitable for family outings or relaxed dinners. This includes sports bars and eateries with outdoor seating. Crossing offering amenities such as parks, green spaces, and proximity to schools and shopping centers.
Requirements
- Current licensure or certification required by state regulations.
- CPR certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire within this role.
- Minimum of three year's discipline-specific or leadership experience required, no less than 2 years being clinical
