About The Position

To apply and contribute to the St. Joseph’s Health mission and values in performing a variety of clinical laboratory procedures related to receiving and/or processing specimens in the Laboratory by following established procedures and protocols. Responsibilities include receiving and patient registration duties or special skills sets determined by the Manager.

Requirements

• High School diploma required, Associates Degree preferred
• Two years’ experience as phlebotomist or extensive knowledge of registration process and laboratory workflow.
• Good communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Familiar with technology related to practice in Central Receiving section and strong knowledge of laboratory practices.
