About The Position

This position involves providing desktop and laptop support, including app and OS installation, basic network troubleshooting, and customer service. The role requires a strong understanding of network protocols and the ability to physically handle IT equipment.

Requirements

  • Aspen IP21 experience
  • RS Linx experience (Def not required but would come in handy)
  • Experience setting up servers
  • SQL DB experience
  • Firewall experience (To the extent of knowing what to put in a ticket, not be a security expert)
  • ITIL License
  • Cisco networking experience
  • Security+, Network+, CSA, etc... Any relevant certs

Responsibilities

  • Desktop/Laptop Support
  • App installation
  • OS installation / imaging
  • Basic network troubleshooting
  • Strong understanding of TCP/IPv4 network protocols
  • Microsoft/Windows experience
  • Ability to lift and move up to 40 lbs (Physically able to rack and stack servers and network gear)
  • Help desk or experience using a ticketing system like Service Now
  • Customer service experience (Even working in retail or service industry shows they know how to treat customers/users)
  • Basic printer experience insofar as configuring the IP address and installing the device on PCs
  • Strong communication skills with email, teams, etc.
