POSITION OVERVIEW This is a critical position that supports the Cheniere Project Development and Engineering and Construction (E&C) businesses with the delivery of supply chain support for Category A & B Capital Projects through Concept to Execution stage gates. In doing so, the Lead Specialist will work closely with E&C Project Managers, Engineers, Project Controls and Construction team members to develop comprehensive Project based Contract and Procurement Strategies for each stage of the Cheniere Project Development & Execution Process (PDEP). The role is to create transformative Contract and Procurement (C&P) Strategies that integrate category strategies that deliver sourcing and contracting with incumbent and new suppliers to meet Project requirements, schedules, and budgets. The position also provides a Capital Project portfolio-based project management function by allocating SCM work to appropriate category and/or purchasing teams, tracking, and reporting various SCM Sourcing, Competitive Bidding, Contracting and Purchasing activities that support the capital Projects. The position is directly accountable for all sourcing, negotiation, contracting, and operationalization of the contract activity in the engineering, construction, or fabrication category areas. This is a non-DOT position.
