About The Position

The Lead Specialist in Bank Operations Lockbox is responsible for moderate operational and administrative tasks related to payment processing for third-party vendors. This role requires attention to detail, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and proficiency in data entry. The position involves executing defined procedures, analyzing tasks, and ensuring proper documentation while providing customer service and resolving moderate issues.

Requirements

• Typically 1-3 years of experience in an operations role.
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent; college degree preferred.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Proven verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated leadership skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Analytical, research, and problem resolution skills.
• Proficient in 10-Key with high speed and accuracy.
• Comfortable navigating multiple computer systems and applications.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Intermediate understanding of accounting principles and banking policies.
• Proven ability to handle monetary processing functions independently.
• Moderate knowledge/experience in multiple payment delivery channels.

Responsibilities

• Administer moderate procedures, analysis, tasks, and reporting with limited instructions.
• Review and ensure proper documentation or procedures are used for moderate activities.
• Identify and resolve moderate issues by following established guidelines, referring complex problems to senior staff.
• Provide service related to moderate complex billing inquiries, service requests, and complaints from customers.
• Contribute to workflow or process change and redesign, forming a basic understanding of specific products or processes.
• Accountable for regular reporting and analysis requests.
• Recommend and implement programs to solve routine issues.
• Train or assist in training new staff as needed.
