About The Position

This position is responsible for: Lead and participates in the work performed by employees, beneficiaries and/or community service workers in the warehouse; ensures that all donated items are processed through the warehouse in a timely manner and in accordance with established standards; ensures the thrift store remains adequately stocked.

Requirements

High school diploma or G.E.D AND
One (2) year progressively responsible experience working in a warehouse work with a list six-month experience in a lead capacity OR
Any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
Ability to meet attendance requirements.
Ability to read, write, and communicate the English language.
Ability to operate a cash register.
Ability to perform routine mathematical computations and count change.
Work requires the ability to lift and carry and/or push/pull heavy (50-100lbs.) materials, supplies, and equipment frequently. Heavy mobility: duties are usually performed plus operating a vehicle.
Valid Driver's License

Responsibilities

Serves as lead worker to warehouse staff (employees, beneficiaries, and community service workers); schedules and monitors their work.
Ensures the work in performed in compliance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
Monitors the supply of items available in the thrift store in order to determine the areas needing additional stock from the warehouse.
