About The Position

Exotec North America Inc. seeks Lead Solutions Engineer in Atlanta, GA: Build commercial and technical offers; Autonomously design, quote and derisk the most complex solutions; Advise the customer on their logistics processes and suggest win-win alternatives; Identify customer pain points and create technical sales strategies tailored to address them; Demonstrate the value of our solutions to customers and build technical consensus with decision makers; Participate in the defense of the offers with the customer in support of the sales engineers; Co-design solutions with suppliers, challenging their technical proposals; Collaborate with the sales management on technical issues and exchange directly with the customers if necessary; Support and train the junior pre-project engineers; Ensure a permanent commercial and strategic watch in order to contribute to the relevance of our R&D roadmap; Enforce company processes and best practices within the team, supporting sales leadership with technical project management; Act as the teams’ contact person for a complex technical domain; and, Create training material for company teams and partners.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Systems Engineering, Electrical and Electronic Engineering, or a related field, or the foreign equivalent and three (3) years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation
  • Knowledge of: Sales machine technical configuration
  • AutoCAD, PLC Programming
  • Mechanical drawing 2D and 3D
  • Providing and facilitating technical presentations internally and externally
  • Pricing of technical solutions and building technical offers
  • Managing third-party suppliers, requests for pricing technical document redaction, technical and pricing discussions
  • Training and technical support of junior colleagues
  • Packaging / Logistic Industry
  • Remote working or telecommuting permitted, in accordance with company policy
  • Relocation to within a reasonable commuting distance of the job opportunity is required
