About The Position

The Lead Solution Architect is responsible for designing, building, and maintaining efficient and scalable Application architecture within an organization. They collaborate with various stakeholders to understand technical requirements, create robust solutions, and ensure the integrity, security, and performance of the application infrastructure. This includes having the strong ability to look around the corner at emerging technologies and advise senior leadership around the strategic technical vision for the domain. The Lead Architect role is crucial for organizations aiming to leverage effectively for strategic decision-making and operational efficiency. This position can sit in multiple CVS locations to include remote.

Requirements

  • 5+ years working in solution architecture or in a similar role.
  • 7+ years in design/development experience in Salesforce, Java, .Net or other modern tech stack.
  • Effective at sharing information verbally and in writing while tailoring information to different audiences.
  • Tackles complex technical issues, analyzing root causes and implementing effective solutions.
  • Proactively develops and documents best practices.
  • Identifies technical gaps, risks, mitigations, pain-points and implements appropriate solutions.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with cloud-based data solutions (Azure, GCP, Snowflake) and their associated services.
  • Facilitates adoption of cloud-native/cloud-first architectures.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in Salesforce/Health Cloud enterprise implementation is a PLUS.
  • Experience/certification in one or more cloud platform (Salesforce, GCP, Azure & AWS) is preferred.
  • Experience in large scale migration efforts from legacy technology/Asset to a modern/new Asset is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Define and execute architectural strategies aligned with project objectives.
  • Lead and supervise architectural initiatives within assigned projects or areas.
  • Develop architectural designs and solutions, ensuring adherence to standards and best practices.
  • Mentor and guide junior and senior architects in project-related tasks and skill development.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver effective architectural solutions.
  • Work closely with stakeholders, including business analysts, data engineers, IT teams, and management, to understand needs and drive alignment with business and development teams.
  • Assess new technologies, tools, and methodologies to enhance application processes and recommend their adoption where applicable.
  • Play a key leadership role in architecture design reviews and identify gaps and recommend design changes.
  • Actively lead and participate in the Architecture community to drive modernization opportunities for Healthcare Business Unit.
