About The Position

The Lead Solution Architect is a key strategist responsible for spearheading the identification, shaping, and closure of high-impact business opportunities. They possess extensive expertise in technology, business requirements analysis, and solution architecture across a spectrum of domains. This role involves leading executive-level discussions to understand client needs and align efforts across multiple workstreams. The Lead Solution Architect plays a pivotal role in structuring and negotiating complex deals to drive optimal outcomes for stakeholders. They provide guidance and direction to senior and junior team members, ensuring the delivery of innovative solutions that exceed customer expectations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in arts/sciences (BA/BS) Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or related field required
  • A minimum of 10 years' progressive experience in consulting, technology sales, or a related field required
  • 10+ years of experience in customer engagement, solution design, or cloud technology delivery, with 3+ years of delivery leadership experience
  • Demonstrated experience as Cloud FinOps practitioner or similar role with expertise in cloud financial strategy, management and optimization
  • Demonstrated experience working on one or more of the public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
  • Demonstrated experience providing strategic direction and guidance for a cloud adoption program
  • Ability to communicate and collaborate with senior client leaders, as well as internal WWT team members, driving towards a strategic solution
  • Demonstrated ability to drive innovation and conceive creative solutions to intricate or ambiguous problems within collaborative team settings
  • Technical mastery of one or more key domains
  • Team leadership skills, ability to orchestrate teams in developing multiple solutions
  • Work is accomplished with limited direction. Determines and develops approach to solutions. Work is evaluated upon completion to ensure objectives have been met.
  • Travel Requirements Up to 25% of the time Domestic and International Travel

Responsibilities

  • Leads the strategic formulation of cutting-edge solutions, harnessing in-depth knowledge of emerging technologies and WWT's internal capabilities to drive innovation and differentiation
  • Proactively identifies and cultivates high-impact business opportunities, orchestrating collaborative efforts with clients and internal stakeholders to negotiate and define project scope, deliverables, timelines, and costs
  • Serves as a visionary advisor, deeply understanding customer needs and charting strategic pathways to address them through innovative solutions and transformative recommendations
  • Collaborates closely with WWT account teams to orchestrate cohesive sales and support strategies, ensuring alignment and synergy in client engagement efforts.
  • Achieves revenue and profit growth for WWT, through impactful solution design and successful sales
  • Serving as Cloud Operating Model solution owner accountable for development of strategy and process offerings across the cloud product, governance, operations, organization, platform engineering, and finance (FinOps) domains.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to develop Cloud Operating model consulting services and solution offerings based on market research, industry trends, customer demand and customer feedback.
  • Leading and participating in the building and execution of a comprehensive and coherent Cloud Operating Model go-to-market strategy, encompassing messaging, solution offerings and case studies.
  • Onboarding and engaging with cloud service providers and 3rd party/ISV partners to identify programming, offerings, tooling and training required to deliver or support Cloud Operating Model solution offerings.
  • Provide oversight and delivery expertise across all Cloud Operating Model solution offerings.
