About The Position

In this senior-level role, you will provide advanced technical leadership in designing, developing, and maintaining complex software systems supporting mission-critical operations. Requirements

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in systems engineering and software development, with proven leadership in complex technical environments.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field; relevant technical certifications from recognized authorities preferred.
• Experience in software design, coding, debugging, and integration within secure and large-scale systems.
• Demonstrated ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams and align technical execution with project objectives.
• Strong understanding of system interoperability, open architecture principles, and DoD technical standards.
• Excellent analytical, documentation, and problem-solving skills with attention to detail and quality.
• Active DoD Secret Security Clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of software and systems architecture, integrating hardware, software, and communications components.
• Define specifications for complex operating software applications and oversee modification or maintenance of existing systems.
• Ensure all systems adhere to Department of Defense (DoD) standards, open systems compliance, and cross-functional interoperability.
• Collaborate with project management teams to plan schedules, technical direction, and resource allocation.
• Develop system design documentation, including diagrams, coding, testing, debugging, and validation protocols.
• Provide technical mentorship and review the work of engineering teams to maintain high performance and quality standards.
• Conduct quality assurance reviews, evaluate emerging software technologies, and oversee ongoing system maintenance.
• Support all phases of software systems programming and contribute to continuous improvement of development processes.
