The Lead Software QA Engineer is responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of enterprise applications—including web, mobile (iOS/Android), and backend systems—through comprehensive testing strategies. This role leads a team of QA engineers, driving test planning, execution, and automation in an Agile environment. Lead QA Engineer collaborates closely with product owners, developers, and business stakeholders to deliver secure, high-performing solutions that meet customer and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related discipline; or equivalent experience.
  • Strong knowledge of enterprise systems and mobile application architecture.
  • Hands-on experience with test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Playwright, Appium, and API testing frameworks).
  • Experience testing applications built with C#, Python, and mobile platforms (iOS/Android).
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle and modern automation testing/deployment methodologies.
  • Prior experience providing testing deliverables within Agile and Scrum methodologies.
  • Strong business orientation with broad experience in technology and change initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Define and implement test strategies for C#, Python, iOS, and Android applications.
  • Lead and mentor QA team members in Agile/Scrum environments.
  • Create and validate comprehensive testing plans for manual and automated testing.
  • Conduct functional, integration, regression, and performance testing across platforms.
  • Drive automation strategy and continuous improvement in testing processes.
  • Collaborate with Product Owners, Developers, and Business Analysts to ensure quality standards.
  • Ensure compliance with security standards and regulatory requirements during testing.
  • Manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
