Responsibilities of the Lead, Engineering position include acting as the project person for project status updates and/or other inquiries related to the team's deliverables, ensuring tasks within projects are completed on time and with high quality, contributing to team member identification/assignment, playing a lead role in project scoping, completing regular reporting and project status updates, and facilitating communication and decision-making with various departments. The Lead, Engineering staff must be capable of performing tasks such as contributing to product ideas and innovation, evaluating product roadmaps, conducting research to solve design problems, creating product architecture and design documentation, writing code for software products, testing new or enhanced products, participating in cross-functional activities, contributing to technical publications, ensuring timely releases, and supporting internal and external partners.
