What you’ll do: AT&T is seeking a Lead Software Engineer to develop best-in-class APIs and Mule Integrations for the Cloudrunner Business Sales application through close collaboration with the business, ecosystem partners and solution providers. The role is primarily responsible for working with production support to triage issues, monitoring, ensuring security and performance, and collaborating with stakeholders to implement and maintain API solutions. This hands-on role requires proficiency in designing and implementing RESTful APIs, integration patterns such as orchestration, transformation, and mediation, experience with message queues and event-driven architectures and familiarity with API security best practices and encryption, to ensure secure communication between systems. A deep understanding of the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform is essential for this role. What you’ll need: Roles and Responsibilities: Responsible for enhancing and developing API Frameworks using SOAP, Rest, and Mule Platforms. Responsible for assisting Salesforce engineers in triaging issues reported by customers Responsible for troubleshooting and debugging application deployments to Kubernetes, Azure. Create and maintain software and deployment documentation. Candidate will be fluent in Git and Azure to test and deploy code This candidate needs to be proactive and demonstrate the ability to analyze issues, generate ideas, and initiate action while achieving results. Actively participate in Scrum, providing status of tasks and coordinating with project team to meet requirements. Extended hours and weekend release work may be required. Experience working in an environment where coordination with multiple teams is essential to success. Requirements

  • An experienced professional, recognized as an expert, creatively resolving complex issues with broad and in-depth knowledge.

  • Mentors less experienced staff, implements long-term plans impacting the organization, and frequently collaborates with senior leadership.
  • Designs and codes complex applications and is an SME for specific programming languages, applications or modules of large complex applications.
  • Has a wide technology knowledge and tools, as well as methodology.
  • Fosters agile and growth mindset and creates innovation and impact.
  • Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) desired in Computer Science.
  • 5+ years of related experience.
  • Certification is required in some areas.
