The Product delivery Engineering team under the Property Causality Product (business lines) is looking for an experienced Software Engineer who is passionate about automation, enabling product teams, and furthering your skills as an engineer. Please note that while technical skills are extremely important, we are also looking for folks that display desired soft skills that add to our current team dynamic.

Requirements

Successful candidates will have 5 years of experience with the following:
Go, Java, Python, JavaScript/TypeScript and other language installations
Spring Boot, SOAP and Restful API, CI/CD pipelines
Exhibit a DevOps and Agile mindset where team is accountable for product from inception to sunset
Strong aptitude and demonstrated ability to learn new programming languages and frameworks.

Nice To Haves

Familiarity with platform monitoring and observability tools such as Splunk, ROSA (Red Hat OpenShift Service on AWS), and Dynatrace.
Experience with DevOps tools such as Terraform, Chef, Puppet, and Ansible.
Enthusiasm for innovation, diversity of thought, and new ideas.
Ability to collaborate and build relationships locally and across multiple locations.
Clear communication skills, both verbal and written.
Understanding of User Experience (UX) practices to improve usability and customer-product interaction.
Technical curiosity and enthusiasm for learning new technologies and following industry best practices and trends.
Understanding of Customer Communication Management (CCM) concepts, including document composition and multi-channel delivery.
Experience with batch, on-demand, and interactive communication processing workflows.

Responsibilities

Utilize up-to-date coding, testing, security, DevOps, and software engineering best practices to maintain and create new applications that support business requirements
Responsible for the analysis, design, deployment, support, and security of technology to ensure the organization is efficiently managing its technology and data-related assets in accordance
Willingness to design, develop, and optimize OpenText Exstream templates for high-volume, personalized customer communications using CN Design Manager and Communication Designer.
Provide engineering guidance to the community and teams to enhance daily workflows.
Apply complex principles, theories, and concepts in computer science for software engineering solutions.

Potential starting salary range: $107,000.00 - $142,000.00
Starting salary will be based on skills, background, and experience
High end of the range limited to applicants with significant relevant experience
Potential yearly incentive pay up to 15% of base salary
