In this role, the Lead Software Engineer will be crucial in driving innovation by creating novel analytic solutions, enhancing existing capabilities, managing data pipelines, and migrating legacy systems to the cloud. The position is ideal for individuals passionate about data and data analysis with experience in delivering data-driven insights using advanced toolsets. Requirements

  • 12+ years of IT-related work experience
  • 8+ years of experience in hands-on software development
  • 3+ years of experience in Azure cloud platform & cloud services
  • 3+ years of experience in development using Python, Spark
  • 3+ years of experience in using tools like Databricks, Snowflake, Python, Pyspark, AKS
  • 2+ years of experience in MySQL and NoSQL databases
  • 2+ years of experience in tools such as Airflow, CI/CD using Jenkins
  • 2+ years of experience in API development, Streaming, Kafka, event hubs
  • Understanding containerization and performance tuning in Data & Engineering Pipelines

Responsibilities

  • Design, code, test, document, and maintain high-quality and scalable Big Data, Cloud solutions
  • Design and architect data solutions to suit client product needs. Develop and implement analytic solutions
  • Research, evaluate, and deploy new tools, frameworks, and patterns to build sustainable data pipelines
  • Identify gaps and opportunities for improvement on existing solutions
  • Implement large Data warehouse solutions in Cloud
  • Analyze and define customer requirements and build products specific to client needs
  • Work on architecting solutions for analytic platforms while partnering with cross functional teams
  • Make accurate development effort estimates to assist management in project and resource planning
  • Create prototypes, proof-of-concepts. Conduct code reviews and design sessions with developers
  • Write technical documentation and participate in production support
  • Coach and mentor junior engineers
  • Keep skills up to date through ongoing self-directed training
