About The Position

Duties: Design, develop and implement software solutions. Solve business problems through innovation and engineering practices. Involved in all aspects of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) including analyzing requirements, incorporating architectural standards into application design specifications, documenting application specifications, translating technical requirements into programmed application modules, and developing or enhancing software application modules. Identify or troubleshoot application code-related issues. Take active role in code reviews to ensure solutions are aligned to pre-defined architectural specifications. Assist with design reviews by recommending ways to incorporate requirements into designs and information or data flows. Participate in project planning sessions with project managers, business analysts, and team members to analyze business requirements and outline proposed solutions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field of study plus 7 years of experience in the job offered or as Lead Software Engineer, Software Engineer/Developer, Technical Consultant, .Net Developer, or related occupation.
  • seven (7) years of experience with the following: designing and developing enterprise UI applications for Web and Windows; designing optimized and responsive Web UI applications with ReactJS, Angular, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
  • five (5) years of experience with the following: developing Windows applications using C#, WPF, MVVM and IoC design patterns; working with Oracle database systems, utilizing triggers, stored procedures, and business analytics; performing unit testing, integration testing, and performance testing; working with Git source control system and collaborative development.
  • four (4) years of experience with the following: working with React state management using Redux and React Context API; utilizing WebSockets to develop real-time financial systems with persistent and low latency connections; deploying and troubleshooting production applications on Linux systems; designing, implementing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using tools including Jenkins to enable automated testing, deployment, and delivery.
  • two (2) years of experience with the following: utilizing Fixed Income assets including U.S. Treasuries, Futures, and Credit Bonds; working with traditional web services using WCF and C#.
