About The Position

L3Harris Technologies is seeking self-starting, team-oriented Full-Stack Application Software Engineers to join a dynamic, multidisciplinary team. This team is at the forefront of satellite command and control systems, leveraging web technologies, distributed computing, sophisticated cloud technologies, frameworks, and cutting-edge capabilities. Successful candidates will play a crucial role in developing and integrating mission-unique software with both existing and emerging technologies, using industry best practices. Essential Functions: Development and Integration: Perform software development and integration using industry best practices, including Agile methodologies, for government systems. Mission Application Support: Provide development support for mission applications and frameworks. Modern Practices: Participate in a development team employing modern DevOps practices and a technology-supported development infrastructure. System Enhancement: Maintain and develop new capabilities for deployed systems, diagnose and resolve issues, and offer support to end-users as required. Continuous Learning: Possess the technical talent and desire to continually learn new skills and promote innovative technologies. Mentorship: Mentor junior engineers on the job as needed. Architectural Adaptation: Have experience adapting existing baselines to new architectures.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related discipline with a minimum of 9 years of relevant experience. Alternatively, a Graduate Degree with a minimum of 7 years of related experience or, in lieu of a degree, a minimum of 13 years of related experience.
  • Active Top Secret Security Clearance

  • Proven expertise in Agile Software Development Processes and Methodologies.
  • Proficiency in Java, Python, and C# software development life cycles.
  • Proficiency in DevSecOps practices.
  • Comprehensive understanding of software testing and quality assurance.
