This is a Lead Software Engineer position at Director level, which is part of the job family responsible for developing and maintaining software solutions that support business needs. The is a full stack developer role at Director level within the Asset Servicing Technology team. Asset servicing is a business function that provides its clients and their Financial Advisors with clear, accurate & timely information and bookkeeping services on corporate actions affecting their investments. It handles wide range of asset classes like shares, bonds or loans belonging to our clients across Institutional (ISG) & Retail (WM) that is held in custody with Morgan Stanley. Asset Servicing team is currently working on large multi-year Initiative to build a state-of-the-art platform GLASS (Global Asset Servicing Solution) that would serve a common solution for both of our operations users – ISG and WM. This is an exciting opportunity to understand the business problem from scratch and build a solution that caters to different stakeholders. Key to the role is the ability to understand complex business problems, evaluate, recommend and deliver technical solutions to both business and systematic issues. He or she will be part of the global team of developers interfacing with users to help build and shape the new platform and provide technical leadership of the functional and technical platform.
