Requirements

• U.S. citizenship with an Active Department of Defense (DoD) Secret clearance
• Bachelor's or master's degree in computer engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
• 10+ years of experience debugging applications on simulated and target hardware
• Usage of a Real-Time Operating System (RTOS), such as Green Hills Integrity, VxWorks, or similar
• Excellent oral and written communication skills

Nice To Haves

• Experience with EVMS
• Experience developing device drivers and Board Support Packages for real time embedded systems
• Experience with Information Assurance and/or cryptography
• Experience with NSA Type 1 certification or other SW certification such as DO-178

Responsibilities

• Leading a software development team
• Analyzing requirements and translating them into working and maintainable solutions
• Planning the development, assigning budgets and tasks
• Tracking teams' status and measuring work performed utilizing EVMS techniques
• Enforcing process across the entire SDLC
• Gathering requirements and working closely with stakeholders to prioritize and scope tasks
• Working as a lead team member on a Scrum team
• Setting direction and strategy for product and infrastructure development
• Developing software test plans and procedures, and other relevant technical documentation
• Participating in peer reviews, identifying, tracking and repairing defects
