As a Lead Software Engineer at JPMorgan Chase within the Corporate Sector's Data Platform team, you are an integral part of an agile team that works to enhance, build, and deliver trusted market-leading technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable way. As a core technical contributor, you are responsible for conducting critical technology solutions across multiple technical areas within various business functions in support of the firm’s business objectives.

Requirements

Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years applied experience.
Understanding of microservices principles, including service decomposition, API design, and inter-service communication.
Deep understanding of AWS cloud architecture, including advanced services like AWS CloudFormation, AWS Kinesis, and AWS Step Functions.
Experience in implementing robust security measures and compliance standards within cloud environments.
Proficiency in designing and optimizing complex database schemas, both SQL and NoSQL, for high-performance applications.
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
Ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
Commitment to continuous learning and staying updated with emerging technologies and industry trends.
Experience in implementing DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines to enhance software delivery processes.
Willingness to learn new technologies and adapt to changing project requirements.
Careful attention to detail to ensure code quality and system reliability.
