As a Lead Software Engineer - Front-End Engineer at JPMorgan Chase within the International Consumer Bank, you will be a part of a flat-structure organization. Your responsibilities are to deliver end-to-end cutting-edge solutions in the form of cloud-native microservices architecture applications leveraging the latest technologies and the best industry practices. You are expected to be involved in the design and architecture of the solutions while also focusing on the entire SDLC lifecycle stages.

Requirements

Formal training or certification on JavaScript concepts and 5+ years applied experience
Strong knowledge of JavaScript, TypeScript, and ES6+ syntax
Ability to write testable, clean JavaScript code
Familiarity with writing unit tests
Ability to work in a dynamic, agile environment within a geographically distributed team
Ability to focus on promptly addressing customer needs
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English

Nice To Haves

Proficiency in React framework, building applications usingâ¯React Nativeâ¯in TypeScript or JavaScript
Native application development across Android / iOS inâ¯Kotlinâ¯/â¯Swift
Understanding of REST APIsâ¯and GraphQL
Comfortable working with projects partially or fully usingâ¯TypeScript
End to end testing applications withâ¯Detoxâ¯/â¯Appium / WebdriverIO / Playwright
Extensive experience in modern web development, including responsive design and performance optimization
Hands-on experience with design systems, component libraries, and implementing consistent UI/UX across large-scale applications
