As a Lead Software Engineer: Front End at JPMorgan Chase within the Asset & Wealth Management, you will be a key member of an agile team, tasked with designing and delivering cutting-edge technology products that are secure, stable, and scalable. Your role involves transforming creative concepts into high-quality, interactive web interfaces utilizing front-end technologies and animation techniques, while ensuring that all solutions are optimized for SEO and ready for analytics integration.

  • Collaborate with designers, product owners, and back-end engineers to create user-friendly, visually appealing, and performance-optimized interfaces.
  • Develop responsive, high-performance front-end components using JavaScript, jQuery and modern animation frameworks.
  • Ensure all front-end implementations are SEO-compliant and integrate seamlessly with analytics platforms for data-driven insights.
  • Implement pixel-perfect designs with attention to detail and smooth user interactions.
  • Apply CI/CD and DevOps best practices to streamline build, test, and deployment processes.
  • Optimize applications for maximum speed, scalability, and cross-browser compatibility.
  • Contributes to software engineering communities of practice and events that explore new and emerging technologies.
  • Adds to team culture of diversity, opportunity, inclusion, and respect.
  • Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years applied experience.
  • Demonstrated expertise in JavaScript, jQuery, React, HTML5, CSS3, and animation methods such as CSS animations and GSAP.
  • In-depth knowledge of SEO best practices in front-end development.
  • Comprehensive understanding of implementing accessibility-compliant solutions.
  • Proven experience in integrating and setting up analytics platforms like Adobe Analytics.
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, including tools like Jenkins and GitHub Actions.
  • Foundational knowledge of the React ecosystem.
  • Exceptional problem-solving capabilities and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Understanding of AI principles with practical experience in incorporating AI-driven solutions into user interfaces.
  • Experience collaborating in Agile/Scrum development environments.
  • Ability to apply AI principles and integrate AI agents into front-end applications when appropriate.
