Job Description U.S. Bank is seeking a full-time Lead Software Engineer – Fraud Cloud BDP Lead (Multiple openings) in Charlotte, NC. Essential Responsibilities: The Fraud Cloud BDP Lead represents the FEA solution and Fraud related batch data processing/streaming needs for our Fraud & AML Investigations teams. The FC BDP leads interfaces with Cloud and Enterprise architects, the development team, and the Fraud Investigations business line to design, implement or enhance in-house or vendor solutions to meet the business need. This is an individual contributor subject matter expert role, requiring knowledge of the FEA solution, the ELZ and AC360 solutions as well as the in-house cloud strategy and FC BDP roadmap. Specific duties will include the following: Provide engineering recommendations to meet data security and data governance guidelines. Designing, developing, testing, and implementing Fraud Enterprise Aggregation (FEA) features. Building robust modeling and highly available applications, and providing support to applications in the cloud with big data and ETL technologies. Enhance and modernize the FEA solution to deliver on solution requirements and adhere to coding best practices. Maintain and update the business rule logic, data processing efficiencies and integration with the data warehouse to meet the Fraud Investigation and EFCC unit needs. Conduct technical and business KT sessions for business and technical teams. Serve as point of contact for communications, monitoring and resolution of production support issues for the FEA solution. Point of contact and lead on requirements and sizing for the FEA solution related to migration from Data Warehousing solution to Oracle data store. Basic Qualifications: This position requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical and Electronic Engineering and 6 years (progressive, postbaccalaureate) software development and cloud transformation experience. Required Skills/Experience: Must also have 12 months of experience with each of the following: 1) Providing engineering recommendations to meet data security and data governance guidelines. 2) Building robust modeling and highly available applications, and providing support to applications in the cloud with big data and ETL technologies including Cloud Technologies (BigData Hadoop, Spark, Hive); Version Controlling Tools (Subversion, GitHub), Build/CI Tools (Jenkins, GitHub); Bug Tracking Tools (JIRA, Service Now, Remedy); Scheduling (Autosys); Scripting Languages (Unix Shell, Python, PowerShell, Bash, Spark Shell), Database (Oracle, SQL Server); Domain Experience (Banking/Financial Services). 3) Maintaining and updating the business rule logic, data processing efficiencies and integration with the data warehouse to meet the Fraud Investigation and EFCC unit needs. 4) Leading the creation of requirements and sizing for the FEA solution related to migration from Data Warehousing solution to Oracle data store.
