Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Data Science, Mathematics, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience as a lead or mentor for a software development team.
- Ability to interpret and write FHIR and HL7, specifically in the context of Computerized Physician Order Entry (CPOE).
- Strong programming skills (Python or similar) and familiarity with APIs, webhooks, integration patterns, data pipelines.
- Experience with GCP, including BigQuery, and Cloud Storage
- Experience working with business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver end-to-end solutions.
- Good communication and organization skills
Nice To Haves
- Familiarity with BI/visualization platforms (Looker)
- Experience working in a clinical organization
- Experience with genomic data
Responsibilities
- Build, maintain, and scale interoperability between Tempus and external partner systems e.g. Electronic Medical Record (EMR), Lab Information Systems (LIS), Health Information Exchange (HIE)
- Lead and collaborate with our Launch engineers, product managers, and clinical stakeholders.
- Ability to translate business needs into solutions and clearly communicate any steps involved.
- Investigate and resolve complex issues in partnership connections with teams cross-functionally, both internal and external.
- Create and update playbooks used by Launch engineers to onboard new customers.
