About the position

The Shift Operations Lead (CPD) provides supervision and direction to daily Regional Production Center (RPC) digital print activities through the proper allocation of labor, equipment, and materials resources. This position engages daily with the RPC client services staff, pre-production and digital production team, and supervises all production operation specialists, operation assistants, and their production activities. This position promotes and upholds targeted levels of both internal and external customer satisfaction, provides operational support to the Production Facility Manager, as well as, field-based CPD Management & Sales Teams. The CPD Production Lead acts as a liaison between Production Facility Manager, Client Services, the production/service staff, field-based personnel, and vendor support associates. This position oversees the execution and adherence to targeted quality standards, on-time performance standards, labor productivity, facility 5S organizational standards, and adherence to order control standards. Performs any duties within the facility as assigned by the RPC Production Facility Manager.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance with labor productivity and organizational standards.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the RPC Production Facility Manager.

Requirements

  • Associate's Degree or equivalent experience.
  • 1-3 years' experience in a related field.
  • Ability to lead and manage in a professional environment.
  • Demonstrate sound judgment and decision-making skills.
  • Plan, prioritize, and implement detailed instructions efficiently.
  • Active listening and effective communication skills.
  • Ability to learn new information and processes.
  • Skills to effectively multi-task and manage time.
  • Ability to supervise up to 10 employees in a fast-paced environment.
