About The Position

The Lead Service Technician (Sprinkler) is responsible for providing leadership and direction for the fire service business within the local district office. This role involves supervising a team of fire/sprinkler/suppression service inspectors and technicians, developing business strategies, and implementing action plans to achieve district objectives and drive profitable growth. The position requires a dynamic approach, as it includes direct involvement in inspections and addressing life safety deficiencies.

Requirements

• Demonstrated supervisory and leadership abilities including training and team building.
• 7-10 years of documented experience in the Fire Alarm, Sprinkler, Suppression industry.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid Fire Alarm, Sprinkler, Suppression license.
• Ability to work flexible hours including weekends.
• Knowledge of test equipment, multi-meters, digital analyzers, and commissioning devices.
• Excellent customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise fire/sprinkler/suppression service inspectors and technicians.
• Develop and implement business strategies to meet district objectives.
• Drive profitable growth of the Fire Service business.
• Maintain effective customer communications and build solid customer relationships.
• Ensure fulfillment of contractual obligations and resolve customer complaints.
• Assign fair and effective performance measurements to employees.
• Ensure compliance with corporate safety programs and conduct safety training.
• Perform scheduled inspections and directly conduct inspections as needed.
