About The Position

The Lead Ambulatory Service Representative plays a critical role in promoting increased utilization of Loyola Medicine services by delivering exceptional customer service that reflects the mission, vision, and values of Loyola Medicine. This role ensures effective clerical and administrative operations within the ambulatory service area while maintaining the highest customer service standards to consistently exceed patient and customer expectations. Ensures efficient day‑to‑day clinic operations, including the following responsibilities: Precepts, coaches, and mentors new employees to support onboarding and performance readiness. Processes files and documentation related to patient care and appointments, including faxes and medical records from outside institutions. Maintains required logs, departmental statistics, and schedules accurately and timely. Proactively identifies, addresses, and resolves operational or patient‑related issues using appropriate resources. Complies with and supports physician‑established clinic protocols. Coordinates physician surgery schedules as required by the assigned Provide outstanding customer service to patients, families, physicians, and staff in alignment with Loyola Medicine’s mission and values Serve as a first point of contact, ensuring patients feel welcomed, respected, and supported Perform clerical and administrative duties to support efficient daily operations of the ambulatory service area Accurately schedule appointments, verify patient information, and manage registration processes as assigned Communicate professionally and effectively with internal departments to support coordinated patient care Maintain confidentiality and comply with all organizational policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements Demonstrate flexibility and teamwork to meet the needs of patients and the service area Consistently uphold high standards of professionalism and customer-focused service excellence

Requirements

  • Required: Associates Degree OR equivalent training acquired via work experience or education
  • Required: At least One (1) year of Service Rep experience
  • Applicants for this position must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.
