About The Position

The Lead ServiceNow Developer will play a crucial role in ICF's Digital Modernization Division, focusing on the design, configuration, customization, and implementation of ServiceNow solutions for government clients. This position requires a blend of technical expertise, leadership, and collaboration to ensure successful digital transformation programs. The developer will work closely with various stakeholders to meet specific business requirements and enhance client satisfaction through effective ServiceNow applications.

Requirements

  • 4 or more years of experience implementing ServiceNow solutions in Portal, CSM, ITSM, HRSD and/or WSD.
  • 3 or more years of experience working with an Agile implementation framework.
  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator.
  • ServiceNow Certified Application Developer.
  • 2 or more years of experience developing with JavaScript, HTML5, Jelly, jQuery, and AngularJS.
  • 3 or more years of experience implementing systems using the Agile/Scrum methodology.
  • 1 or more years of Integration experience (SOAP, REST, and JSON as well as JDBC and file imports).
  • 1 or more years of experience in Administration of a ServiceNow instance including management of users, groups, and roles.

Nice To Haves

  • Hands-on experience configuring or building 5 or more ServiceNow applications.
  • In-depth knowledge of ServiceNow platform capabilities and best practices.
  • Familiarity with ITIL processes and IT Service Management (ITSM) principles.
  • Strong scripting skills in JavaScript and GlideScript.
  • Experience in customizing UI and creating complex workflows.
  • Understanding of integration techniques with external systems.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with Solutions Architects and Business Analysts to understand and document business outcomes and functional requirements.
  • Lead the design of complex ServiceNow solutions that align with client needs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement ServiceNow solutions that meet industry best practices.
  • Support data migration design and activities from legacy systems to ServiceNow, ensuring data accuracy and consistency.
  • Assist architects in the design and integration of ServiceNow with other systems and applications.
  • Analyze platform performance and implement optimization strategies for ServiceNow solutions.
  • Validate the completeness of technical documentation for configurations and customizations.
  • Conduct thorough testing of ServiceNow configurations to ensure functionality and data integrity.
  • Support end-user training for smooth adoption of implemented solutions.
  • Assist in change management efforts during the transition period.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to ServiceNow implementations.
  • Contribute to the development of ICF's best practices and standards for ServiceNow solutions.
  • Stay updated on the latest ServiceNow features and best practices for continuous improvement.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers.
  • Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders for effective project coordination.
