Requirements

  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays

  • One year minimum of experience in food and beverage operations

Responsibilities

  • Supervise the day-to-day functions of the restaurant while providing excellent customer service and actively contributing to department requirements and standards
  • Provide guidance, direction, and support to the server team, leading by example and fostering a positive work environment
  • Assign duties and responsibilities to servers, ensuring appropriate coverage and staffing levels based on business needs
  • Coach and mentor servers to improve performance, enhance service skills, and achieve service excellence
  • Conduct ongoing training sessions on menu knowledge, wine service, upselling techniques, and customer engagement strategies
  • Ensure food and beverages are being served in a professional and timely manner
  • Assist guests with menu selections, providing recommendations and answering questions about ingredients, preparation methods, and dietary restrictions
  • Promote menu items, specials, and promotions to guests, using suggestive selling techniques to increase sales and enhance the dining experience
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the dining area, including clearing and resetting tables, wiping surfaces, and replenishing condiments
  • Monitor the set up and maintenance of the venue(s) to ensure all side work is complete
  • Interact with guests to ensure a positive guest experience
  • Attend daily pre-shift meetings
  • Assist with ongoing service training
  • Assist with the completion of daily shift reports as needed
  • Deliver on guests’ expectations and have the desire to create WOW moments
  • Perform additional duties as assigned that may be outside of the normal scope of duties, based on business needs
