Job Summary: The Server maintains effective communication with guests and fellow team members. Specific forms of communication include answering questions, making suggestions regarding Food & Beverage Service, writing down orders, requesting identification from guests when legal age is questionable, relaying food orders to the kitchen, relaying beverage orders to the bartender, answering phone properly and articulating a working knowledge of the Resort and Food & Beverage Department.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Self-motivated to accomplish goals, with a strong sense of responsibility
- Proven job reliability, diligence, dedication, and attention to detail
- Servers must be able to work outside in cold or hot temperatures
Responsibilities
- Serve food and beverage to guests according to standard operating procedures
- Ensure high standard of sanitation and hygiene in the work area
- Perform cashiering tasks according to the set standards
- Carry food and beverage trays up to 10 pounds throughout the dining area including going up and down the stairs
- Maintain cleanliness of various restaurant areas to ensure guest satisfaction
- Constantly review standard food presentation, service and operating procedures
- Ensure that all guest orders and related requests are carried out along with any reports or complaints
- Able to drive resort vehicles for delivery orders
- Handle any side duties as assigned by their trainer
