Lead Server / Dining Room Lead Full-Time | 1st Shift Allegro Hyde Park 800 W Azeele St Tampa, FL 33606 💵 Starting Pay: $16.00 per hour Allegro Hyde Park is hiring a Full-Time Lead Server to support our Dining Services team in our senior living community. This is an internal posting only and intended for a current associate promotion opportunity. This role is ideal for team members seeking advancement into a leadership position within dining services. The Lead Server plays an important role in ensuring excellent dining experiences for residents while supporting daily dining room operations, mentoring team members, and helping maintain service excellence. The primary responsibility of the Lead Server is to accommodate residents and guests during their dining experience by attending to their needs in a friendly, timely, and professional manner. The Lead Server is responsible for ensuring that the dining room is always attractive and extremely clean. In addition, supervise, train, schedule, and motivate the serving associates.

Requirements

Must be a minimum of 18 years of age.
Must have state specific Food Manager Certification or be able to certify within 30 days of hire.
Must have a positive Criminal Background Screening.
The Community is a drug free workplace; associates are subject to adherence to the Company Drug Free Workplace policy.

Nice To Haves

At least one (1) year of related experience preferred.
Some software and computer skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

Ensure that the atmosphere of the dining room is pleasant and enjoyable, dining services are timely, and the Servers are attentive to the needs of the residents.
Set and manage the schedules for the Servers.
Supervise and assist the Servers in maintaining a clean dining room, chairs, windows, floors, and all work areas.
Supervise and assist the Servers in clearing tables of glasses, silverware, dishes, etc. when residents and guests have finished a course or their meal.
Have a good knowledge of the presentation of food being served and train the Servers in this area.
Always be ready to assist residents in sitting and in rising from the table.
Serve food in an efficient and professional manner. Taking food and beverage orders and serving meals as they are ordered.
Conduct training sessions for Servers.
