In this role you will provide quick, efficient and pleasant service of food and beverage to residents and guests. You will accept food orders, communicate to kitchen and deliver food and beverage to residents and/or guests in a timely manner in accordance with Company policies, procedures and standards. Ensuring resident/guest satisfaction by responding quickly to needs and requests is essential. You will actively buss tables and reset tables in accordance to Company policies, procedures and Standards. Completing assigned side work and checking out with the Manager at the completion of your shift is also required. Collaboration with all staff to ensure timely room service according to our Tray Service/Pick Up related policy is important. You will maintain a clean and sanitary condition of work areas, china and equipment, complying with all state and local health codes for food handling. Inspecting end of shift duties completed by staff and adhering to the personal hygiene policy is necessary. Attendance at all required training, in services, and staff meetings is expected, and you must meet all department training standards through regulatory training and/or other necessary training modules as required. Training and/or revisiting training with staff is part of the role. Maintaining a positive and professional demeanor toward all residents, visitors and co-workers is crucial. All dietary department personnel should follow safety precautions to prevent accidents in food preparation according to our accident prevention in food preparation and prevention of back injury policy. You will also maintain budgets by avoiding waste of products and time and perform other duties as assigned.
