About The Position

The Lead Security position is a critical role responsible for overseeing and managing the security operations within an organization to ensure the safety of personnel, assets, and information. This role involves developing, implementing, and maintaining comprehensive security policies and procedures that align with organizational goals and regulatory requirements. The Lead Security professional will coordinate with various departments to assess risks, respond to incidents, and continuously improve security measures. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice, security management, or a related field is preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in security operations, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of security protocols, emergency response procedures, and risk management.
  • Familiarity with security technology systems including CCTV, access control, and alarm monitoring.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain any required security clearances or licenses as applicable.
  • The Lead Security role requires strong leadership and communication skills to effectively manage and motivate the security team while coordinating with other departments.
  • Analytical skills are essential for conducting thorough risk assessments and interpreting security data to make informed decisions.
  • Technical proficiency with security systems and software enables the Lead Security professional to oversee installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of security technology.
  • Problem-solving skills are critical when responding to incidents and developing strategies to mitigate future risks.
  • Additionally, knowledge of regulatory requirements and best practices ensures compliance and helps maintain a secure operational environment.

Responsibilities
